Knightsbridge School goes wild for Earth Day
Pupils from Knightsbridge School (KS) went wild on Earth Day earlier this year. Students from KS marched from their school to Duke of York Square in Chelsea as part of the school’s Earth Day celebrations.
The pupils were joined on the day by award-winning naturalist, author and filmmaker Nick Gates and the SOS from the Kids choir, who have previously performed at COP26 and Britain’s Got Talent.

The SOS choir sang for pupils at an all-school assembly in the morning which Nick Gates also spoke at. The choir and Gates then helped the Knightsbridge School (KS) pupils make banners and signs for their peaceful march through the community. The SOS Kids choir marched alongside KS pupils to Duke of York Square where all the children performed two songs together for the public.
The march was a culmination of the past few weeks when Knightsbridge School pupils have been encouraged to ‘find your wild’. During the Easter holidays they were urged to complete tasks connected with nature and the outdoors such as riding a bike, climbing trees, going on nature walks or finding out more by visiting exhibits or listening to podcasts.
