"Riri by Lily" is founded by Lily, "imagined" by Riri. Lily in English, Riri in Korean, both names together reflect who she is. Born and raised in South Korea, she wanted to connect her Korean heritage to her style of fashion with the characters embraced as having lived in different cities in the world. The bags are made with paper(Hanji) leather and cotton and made in Korea. Hanji is Korean traditional paper that has been broadly used in people's daily lives since around 3rd century in Korea. It was utilised for documents, wallpaper, clothes, household goods, etc. Hanji is not only sustainable material but doesn't produce environmentally harmful sustances during manufacturing processes. Hanji leather is anti-bacterial, light weight, breathable, heat resistant, quick-drying, water repellent, and biodegradable.
