The day of the Dukes Club Teddy Bear's Picnic dawned bright and sunny this Saturday and the forest school at Riverside Nurseries St Margarets provided the perfect setting for the event, adorned with colourful bunting and offering plenty of shaded areas to escape the heat.
40 Dukes families came from far and wide to join in the fun. The effervescent Magic Sam lead the festivities with bubbles, songs, magic tricks and dancing and took our little explorers on a very exciting quest to find Big Ted.
Guests were treated to a delicious lunch with organic allergen-free food from caterers Lune & Wild before the illusive Big Ted made an appearance, joining in for more games and dancing, much to the delight of the children.
It was all smiles when we bid our farewells and attendees were treated to goody bags and samples of Lune & Wild's delectable food to take home. “We really enjoyed the day and appreciated the effort that went into the planning, it was perfect!!!!” said one parent “The food was delicious, the entertainment was great and everyone we met was lovely!”
Thank you to all the families who joined us for this delightful picnic and to Riverside Nursery Schools for providing the venue. We very much look forward to the next one.
